About HSA

A school built around the message of Karbala

Developing the Next Generation of Azadaran-e-Hussain — since 2009.

Our Story

A school for the arts of Azadari, since 2009

The Hussainiat School of Azadari (HSA) was established in 2009 with a simple conviction: that the traditions of Azadari deserve to be taught with the same care, structure and seriousness as any formal discipline. What began as a modest gathering of students learning Noha and Soz has grown into a full religious education institution offering classes both on campus and online.

At HSA, students do not simply memorise verses. They learn where the words come from, why they were written, and how to carry them with the dignity the subject demands. Recitation training sits alongside Karbala studies, Hadith-e-Kisa, and Zakiry, so that a student who stands to recite also understands what they are reciting.

Today HSA continues to expand its curriculum, its archives and its community while holding to the same standard it started with in 2009: sincerity, accuracy and respect.

Our Values

What guides every class

Adab before art

Every class begins with respect — for the message of Karbala, for teachers, and for fellow students.

Authentic sourcing

Recitation and Karbala content is taught with attention to accurate sources and correct meaning.

Accessible to all

Both online and on-campus classes are offered so families can choose what suits them.

Lifelong Azadari

We prepare students not for a single majlis, but for a lifetime of service to Imam Hussain (a.s.).
